Peekaboo Hedgies

 

Who can resist a pair of adorable hedgies peeking out to say “HELLO”?

Today’s card was inspired by this week’s sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches. I love using sketches as a creative jumping-off point, and this one had the perfect layout for a playful greeting like this!

I used the Peekaboo Forest bundle for those sweet hedgehogs—don’t they just make you smile? The sentiment was created with the Mini Alphabet dies and layered onto a stitched panel from the Textured Notes die set. The background is full of subtle detail thanks to the Pattern of Friendship die—it adds just the right amount of texture without overpowering the design.

To tie it all together, I added a strip of green cardstock and a few gold embellishments for a little sparkle. Simple, sweet, and full of personality!
