Inspire Create Share Blog Hop: Farewell 2024-2026 In Colors

Hi Crafty Friends!

Welcome to the Inspire Create Share Blog Hop! This month, we’re saying farewell to the 2024–2026 In Colors. I’m definitely sad to see a couple of these colors go—but saying goodbye to the old always makes room for something new.

For today’s post, I started with a simple goal: create one card using all five retiring In Colors. But, as often happens in my craft room, one idea led to another… and before I knew it, I had two cards to share! And honestly, I’m not complaining—these colors are just too pretty not to enjoy a little extra before they retire.

For the first card, I created a bold background using strips of In Color cardstock. This is such an easy way to showcase multiple colors at once! I adhered the strips to a piece of lightweight copy paper, then embossed the panel using the Beautiful Pattern 3D Embossing Folder for added texture. For the second card, I used strips of the In Color Designer Series Paper for a slightly different look.

The layered die-cut frame from the Scalloped Wishes Bundle pulls everything together and creates the perfect focal point for the sentiment. One card has a softer, more floral feel, while the other is brighter and a bit more playful—especially with that fun dragonfly accent.

To finish the cards, I added a few die-cut elements from the bundle and coordinating embellishments for just a touch of sparkle. These designs are a great reminder that you don’t need complicated techniques to create something eye-catching—sometimes it’s all about letting the colors shine!

If these In Colors are on your favorites list, now is the time to grab them before they’re gone. I’m so glad I took the time to play with all five… even if it turned into two cards instead of one!

Now join me to visit my Stampin' friends and see what they created for with the retiring In-Colors!
