Make a Wish with Ink Blending Fun

  I had so much fun creating this sweet birthday card for the  This or That Instagram Hop ! This time around, I was completely inspired by the background I created—so much so that I actually changed my original card design just to show more of it off!  Want to try something similar? Here are a few tips to help you recreate this dreamy ink-blended look: Ink Blending Tips: Stick to Analogous Colors When ink blending, choose colors that sit next to each other on the color wheel—they’ll blend much more smoothly. I used  Fresh Freesia ,  Petunia Pop , and  Summer Splash  for this background. Summer Splash has just enough blue in it that when it met Petunia Pop, it made the  prettiest  purple! Create Movement with Details To emphasize the pink diagonal across the card, I stamped some subtle  tone-on-tone confetti  using Fresh Freesia.
