Paper Pumpkin Possibilities: Sparkling Celebrations

Hello Stampin’ Friends,

Welcome to another Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! I’m so happy you stopped by today. Each month, our team shares creative ideas and fresh inspiration using the newest Paper Pumpkin kit, and this month we’re featuring the beautiful May 2026 kit, Sparkling Celebrations.

This kit is filled with gorgeous details, rich colors, and stunning silver accents that make creating special cards so much fun. I can’t wait to share today’s project with you and hopefully inspire you to look at your kit supplies in a whole new way!

I love the rich combination of Blackberry Bliss and Daffodil Delight on this card. The deep purple background really makes the warm glow of the lanterns stand out, while the Silver Foil layer adds just the right touch of shine. To create the background detail, I die cut the fireworks from the Wonderful Scenes Dies (sadly, these are now sold out) directly into the Blackberry Bliss cardstock three times. The entire panel was then layered onto Silver Foil cardstock and mounted on a bright Daffodil Delight card base for a bold, dramatic look.

For the focal layer, I cut open one of the envelopes from the kit and die cut it using the Everyday Arches Dies. I love finding extra ways to use every piece of a kit, and the envelope pattern made the perfect glowing background for the lanterns. Along the bottom of the arch, I stamped the tree tops in Blackberry Bliss ink to ground the scene and add a little silhouette detail. The lanterns from the kit were added on top, and I finished the card with a sentiment stamped in Blackberry Bliss for a coordinated look.

Happy Stampin'!
