Clean & Simple Sweet Bugs

Hello Stampin' Friends!

Today’s card features the adorable Sweet Bugs Bundle from Stampin’ Up! Sometimes the cutest images make the easiest cards, and this little caterpillar definitely steals the show.


I started by stamping the caterpillar and leaf from the Sweet Bugs stamp set and coloring them with Stampin’ Blends. For this card, I used a bright and cheerful color combination of Berry Burst and Granny Apple Green, which gives the image a fun, playful feel. The vibrant Berry Burst makes the caterpillar pop, while Granny Apple Green is perfect for the leafy umbrella above him.

To keep the focus on the image, I paired the stamping with a clean background. The panel was die cut using one of the frames from the Textured Notes Dies, which adds a subtle stitched detail around the edge without overwhelming the design. A few Rhinestone Basic Jewels provide just a hint of sparkle and bring the whole card together.

The sentiment, stamped in Berry Burst, is a simple “Hello Friend,” making this card perfect to keep on hand for those moments when you want to brighten someone’s day with a quick note.
