Simplest Things

🌼 Sometimes the simplest things mean the most! 🌼

Hello, stamping friends! Today, I’m sharing a bright and cheerful handmade card that is sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face. Featuring the You Are Remarkable stamp set paired with the gorgeous Floral Delight Designer Series Paper (DSP), this card is a perfect example of how simple designs can make a big impact.

Bringing This Card to Life

I love using 2-step stamping to add beautiful, layered color to my floral images. For this card, I stamped the bold floral outline first and then added color using a coordinating stamp. I chose to color the flower petals only, leaving the leaves uncolored.  This technique gives the flowers a vibrant, artistic look with minimal effort! The black-and-white floral background really pops with the soft gingham pattern on the side, creating a balanced and eye-catching design.

Finishing Touches

No card is complete without a little extra detail! I added a delicate ribbon bow for texture and some pearl embellishments for a touch of elegance. The sentiment, “Sometimes the simplest things mean the most,” is stamped on Daffodil Delight cardstock and punched with the Heartfelt Hexagon punch, making it stand out beautifully against the card’s layout.
