Hello Darling - A Rainbow of Inspiration

 

Stampin’ Up! recently issued a fun creative challenge—to use a product suite’s stamp and die bundle but give it a fresh spin with a brand-new color combination. I love a good challenge and couldn’t wait to dive in!

Here is Stampin' Up!'s version of the card:

For my project, I decided to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) a card design featured on the Stampin’ Up! website, using the Boho Vibes Suite Collection. The original layout was just too cute to pass up! But to make it my own, I changed the colors completely. 

Color Combination:

I pulled inspiration from this gorgeous photo I found on the Design Seeds website. The soft yet bold color mix felt perfect for spring or any time you want to send a cheerful hello.

These colors came together to create a playful and modern rainbow that feels both whimsical and warm.

Each piece of the rainbow was die cut and adhered with liquid glue—though, I’ll admit, adhesive sheets would have been a much smarter (and tidier) choice! Live and learn, right? 😊

I finished off the card with the “HELLO DARLING” sentiment for a sweet, welcoming touch. It’s the kind of card that’s perfect for brightening someone’s mailbox.

I kept the inside of the card simple, stamping "SENDING GOOD VIBES" and adding a few starbursts to add some color.

I hope this inspires you to try the challenge yourself—grab your favorite dies and switch up the colors. It’s amazing what a little palette change can do!
