Make a Splash Birthday

Hi friends!

Today I’m sharing a bright and happy birthday card that’s sure to bring a smile! Nothing says party quite like a pink flamingo in a cute little party hat.

I started by creating the background with the Balloon Birthday Cover Plate Die from Catherine Pooler Designs. To get that fresh, summery ombré look, I blended Sweetheart and Limoncello inks over the die-cut panel. These inks are so smooth and vibrant—perfect for ink blending!

The flamingo and sentiment are from the Swim Sip Repeat stamp set. I love how playful this set is, and that little party hat was just too adorable to leave out. I stamped and die-cut the flamingo float, added the hat, and popped everything up with foam adhesive for a bit of dimension.

To finish it off, I added a few sparkly gems to bring in a little extra birthday bling.

I hope this card inspires you to make a splash with your next birthday project. Thanks so much for stopping by—let me know what you think in the comments!

Happy crafting!

Lisa
