Regal Wreath BetterPress LetterPress

Today I’m sharing a clean and simple holiday card featuring the Regal Wreath Press Plate from Altenew—and it’s extra special because it’s the very first card I’ve made using the BetterPress system!

If you haven’t heard of the BetterPress yet, it’s a system from Spellbinders that creates beautiful letterpress-style impressions using coordinating plates and specially formulated ink. It works with most standard die-cutting machines and produces stunning results with just a few steps. Think of it like stamping, but with that luxurious, pressed-in texture you typically see on high-end stationery.

For this card, I used Altenew’s Regal Wreath Press Plate with a rich green ink to create the delicate wreath design. The impression is so crisp and detailed—it truly elevates even the simplest card. I decided to keep the layout minimal to let the wreath shine, adding a pop of festive red flowers and a “merry & bright” sentiment in the center.

It’s safe to say I’m hooked! I love the elegance the BetterPress brings to handmade cards, and I can’t wait to try more plates and techniques with it.

If you're curious about the BetterPress system or thinking about adding it to your crafty collection, I’d be happy to share my first impressions and tips. Just leave a comment or reach out!

Happy stamping,
Lisa
