Sending Sweet Sunshine

 

Hi Crafty Friends!

Today I’m sharing a card featuring the adorable Ice Cream Truck from Pinkfresh Studio! This fun product line includes a coordinating stamp set, dies, and stencils.  I created this card for the This or That Instagram Hop, where this week’s theme is Sunlight or Twilight.

I began by stamping the images and then coloring them with the coordinating stencils. I went with a soft pastel color palette to keep the card light and sweet—because honestly, who can resist a pink ice cream truck?

For the background, I used the Coastal Paradise stencils (also from Pinkfresh) to create a glowing sun and rays shining across the sky. To ground the truck, I blended a bit of Hazelnut ink along the bottom edge.

To pull it all together, I popped up all the die-cut images with foam tape for added dimension, and finished it off with a few simple embellishments.
