Laid-Back Summer Vibes
I have a fun and relaxing card to share with you today, featuring the Coastal Paradise stamp, stencil, and die set from Pinkfresh Studio. I created this card for the Sharing Summer Instagram Hop, where this week’s theme is Laid Back Days. And honestly—what could be more laid back than a peaceful waterfront vacation?
The Coastal Paradise stencil set includes two sets of layering stencils. The first set builds the soft, beachy background, while the second adds color to the stamped houses, trees, and other charming elements. For the background, I used the lightest shades from a few of my favorite Altenew color families. Then, for the buildings and details, I used the same color families in darker tones. This technique helped the foreground elements really pop against the softer backdrop.
I love how this card captures that relaxed, coastal vibe—perfect for summer crafting!
