One Layer Painted Flowers

One layer cards always challenge me more than I expect! This one was created while I was working through the Clean & Simple Boutique Card class, where the assignment was to design a true one layer card.

I pulled out the Painted Flowers set and stamped the blooms around the sentiment (from Bridge to My Heart), making sure the words stayed the star of the design. To finish it off, I grabbed a black fine liner and hand-drew a simple border. It’s such a small detail, but it really pulls everything together and frames the card nicely.

Simple doesn’t always mean easy—but I love how this one turned out!
