Painted Butterfly in Gold
Hello Friends!
Clean and simple doesn’t mean plain — sometimes it’s the most elegant way to make a design shine. Today’s card is a perfect example. I pulled out the Painted Butterfly stamp set from Altenew and decided to keep things soft and classy.
I started by stamping the butterfly outline with Versamark ink and then heat embossed it in Rose Gold. I just love the delicate shine it adds without being too bold. Instead of building all the layers of the butterfly, I skipped ahead to the last one and stamped it in Pink Sand. This gave just a hint of color while still letting the embossed outline take center stage.
For the sentiment, I heat embossed the greeting in Rose Gold on black cardstock, trimmed it down into a strip, and popped it up with foam tape. That little bit of dimension really helps it stand out!
This design came together so quickly, and I love how polished it looks while still being minimal. Proof that clean and simple can be both beautiful and impactful!
Hope you have been inspired to create today!
Happy Stamping!
Lisa
