Beautiful Gallery

Today I’m sharing a card I created for an Instagram hop that celebrates patterned paper! For this project, I reached for the Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!—it’s so gorgeous it really deserves to take center stage.

 Creating this card:

  • I chose a scenic design from the Beautiful Gallery DSP and used nesting dies to cut out a panel from the paper.

  • To make the panel pop, I outlined the edges with a gold Sharpie marker. This little touch adds such an elegant detail.

  • I adhered the die-cut panel to the card base using dimensional foam tape, which gives the card a subtle raised effect.

  • The sentiment “Just a Note” is heat embossed in gold embossing powder, tying in perfectly with the gold edging.

Sometimes it’s nice to let your patterned paper be the star, and this card is a perfect example of that. With minimal extra layers or embellishments, the scene really shines on its own.
