Be Strong with Magnolia Dreams
Hello crafty friends!
Today I’m sharing a soft and encouraging card featuring Altenew’s Magnolia Dreams 3D Embossing Folder and Stencil Set. I love how layering inks over an embossed background makes the flowers pop with so much depth and detail. The sentiment, be strong, felt like the perfect finishing touch.
Emboss a piece of white cardstock using the Magnolia Dreams embossing folder.
Use a large blending brush to cover the entire panel with Misty Morning ink.
With Stencil 1 & 2, blend Cloudy Sky and then Nimbus to bring out the petals.
On Stencil 3, use Dark Sky for the flower centers. Add an extra layer of Misty Morning on the leaves for more dimension.
Trim the panel and layer it on silver cardstock, leaving about ¼” border on each side.
Mount onto a Nimbus card front panel, then adhere to your card base.
Stamp the sentiment from Captivating Floral Swag, die cut, and pop it up with dimensional foam tape.
Finish with a few gems for a little sparkle.
I love how the cool blues and silvery accents give this card such a calm and uplifting feel. Perfect for sending a little encouragement when someone needs it most. 💙
