Birthday Candle Card – Celebrate in Style

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I’m sharing a bright and cheerful birthday card that’s sure to bring a smile. I had fun playing with the Celebrate stamp set and coordinating dies from Kristina Werner and Concord & 9th to create this bold trio of candles.

Creating this card:

  • Candles & Flames – I stamped the candle and flame images, then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. To give them a little extra pop, I adhered each piece to the card front with foam tape for dimension.

  • Background – Using three shades of teal ink, I blended a smooth background onto white cardstock. Once I had the look I wanted, I die cut it with the retired Stampin’ Up! Deckled Rectangle Dies for that fun textured edge.

  • Sentiment – A simple “It’s Your Birthday!” stamped at the bottom ties it all together.

I love the crisp contrast of the bold candles against the soft blended teal background. The foam tape really helps the images stand out and adds just the right amount of depth.

This card design could easily be recreated in different color palettes—imagine a rainbow of candles or even a more elegant look with metallic embossing.
