Warm Holiday Wishes with Cup of Cheer

Today I’m sharing a fun holiday card featuring the Hero Arts Cup of Cheer Letterpress Plate. I couldn’t resist this festive little holiday coffee cup—it’s the perfect way to send warm holiday wishes!  I love how crisp and detailed the letterpress impression turned out, especially with that adorable whipped topping and candy cane detail.

For the background, I kept things simple but festive by using just one layer of the Candy Cane Toss Up Stencils. The soft stenciled effect adds texture and pattern without overwhelming the main image.

This design is quick to put together but has a cozy, handmade feel—perfect for sending holiday cheer to coffee-loving friends and family.

Creating this card:

• Cut a card base from Spellbinders Chiffon cardstock.

• Use the Candy Cane Toss Up Stencil with light ink to create a soft background.

• Letterpress the Hero Arts Cup of Cheer Plate with Bark BetterPress ink on Chiffon cardstock.

• Trim and layer the panel with the Arches Infinity Dies. Layer with a coordinating dark brown mat.

• Adhere the panel to the stenciled background with foam tape.

• Finish with a few gems for sparkle.
