A Mysterious Halloween Night

Today’s project features Day 3 of the Spellbinders Craftoween Box, and I couldn’t resist bringing back that dapper crow again! He’s just too stylish to use only once.

For this card, I paired him with a “poison” potion bottle for a fun Halloween twist. The bold mix of aqua, orange, and black gives a modern, slightly whimsical vibe that feels perfectly spooky without being too dark.

The sentiment, “Wishing you a mysterious Halloween night,” ties it all together with a touch of intrigue. I love how the crisp black stamping pops against the white background and draws your eye right to that cheeky crow in his top hat and bow tie.

Creating this card:
  • Start with an aqua card base.

  • Add a black mat behind a white cardstock panel for contrast.

  • Die cut the poison bottle from aqua and orange cardstock and assemble.

  • Create the crow with black, aqua, and orange pieces — don’t forget his hat and bow tie!

  • Stamp the sentiment in crisp black ink.

  • Adhere all elements to the card front, using foam adhesive for added depth.

This design is such a fun mix of spooky and sophisticated — perfect for sending Halloween greetings with a playful twist! To see more projects using the Craftoween box, visit me on Instagram to follow the Craftween 2025 Instagram Hop.  We will be sharing our projects on every odd number days until Halloween.
