Bone-Rattling Halloween

Day 6 of the Craftoween box brought this adorable skeleton, and I just couldn’t resist leaning into the cuteness! Instead of traditional spooky colors, I gave this little trick-or-treater a soft pink makeover. The patterned paper background and a few sparkling gems keep the design playful and fun, while still giving a nod to Halloween.

I love how the combination of pink and black creates a whimsical twist on the usual Halloween palette—it’s unexpected but still festive! This skeleton, complete with a witch hat and broom, is ready for a bone-rattling good time.

Sometimes the best Halloween projects are the ones that make you smile instead of scream, and this card definitely fits that bill.

Creating this card:

  • Die cut and assemble the skeleton and its accessories from the Craftoween box. Adhere them to a die-cut oval using foam tape for dimension.

  • Trim the patterned paper to fit your card front and attach it to a white card base.

  • Stamp the sentiment directly onto the patterned paper using Obsidian Black ink.

  • Adhere the oval panel to the card front with foam tape.

  • Finish with a few embellishments for a touch of sparkle and bling.
