I Wanna Piz-za You!
Day 4 of the Spellbinders Craftoween Box brought a fun and quirky surprise — a pizza-loving ghost! I couldn’t resist keeping this card simple to let that cute little ghost take center stage. The soft patterned paper adds just enough background interest without stealing the spotlight.
This card makes me smile every time I see it — a perfect mix of spooky and sweet, with a dash of humor for Halloween.
Creating this card:
Start with a neutral card base. I used a kraft card base to complement the patterned background.
Add patterned paper. Choose a subtle print that adds texture without overwhelming the main image.
Layer your frames. I used a die cut and embossed frame in black and deckled rectangle in kraft for depth and contrast.
Assemble the ghost. Die cut the ghost, pumpkin, and slice of pizza. Add a little shading if you like for extra dimension.
Stamp the sentiment. “I Wanna Piz-za You” adds a playful finishing touch to the design.
Adhere all the layers. Use foam tape behind the main panel to give the card a bit of lift.
A simple design like this is great for making multiple cards or for those moments when you want to craft something quick but still full of personality!
