Magic and Mischief Await

Day 7 of the Craftoween box brings a little bit of magic and mischief! I had so much fun creating this whimsical Halloween card featuring a stack of spell books, candles, and a splash of spooky charm. The “Spellbound” banner adds the perfect touch, and I couldn’t resist bringing in the tiny pumpkin and festive banner from Day 4 for a little extra Halloween flair.
The soft pastel background came together quickly thanks to some patterned paper—I love how it adds just enough color without overpowering the focal image. Sometimes it’s those simple touches that make everything fall into place!
This project captures everything I love about the Craftoween box—each day’s pieces mix and match beautifully, making it easy to create something new and magical every time.

Creating this card:

  • Die cut and assemble the Spellbound pieces from Day 7 of the Craftoween box. Also die cut and assemble the pumpkin and banner from Day 4.

  • Trim a piece of patterned paper to fit your card front and attach it to a white card base.

  • Cut a smaller piece of white cardstock, layer it onto black cardstock to create a mat, and adhere it to the card front.

  • Stamp the sentiment using Obsidian black ink.

  • Use foam tape to attach the assembled die-cut images to the card front for added dimension.

I hope this card inspires you to get creative with your own Craftoween goodies! Each day’s pieces have been so much fun to mix and match, and I can’t wait to share more spooky projects with you.
