Autumn Sunset Postage

 

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I’m sharing a soft and serene card created with the beautiful Autumn Sunset Postage Collage stamp set from Waffle Flower. I’ve always loved postage-themed designs, and this set brings so many sweet scenes to life in the tiniest frames. Each little vignette feels like its own story—quiet moments in nature, silhouettes at dusk, and all the cozy evening vibes that autumn inspires.

To create the warm glow behind each silhouette, I ink blended the backgrounds using Apricot Frost, Amber Blaze, and Raspberry Sunset inks from Altenew. This trio creates the perfect sunset transition, moving from soft peach to rich golden amber to a touch of warm raspberry. Once the colors were blended, the black silhouettes stamped so crisply on top—such a striking contrast! I arranged the mini scenes in a grid to give the card a clean, classic postage look.

For the finishing touch, I added the “hugs” sentiment from the Script Greetings stamp and die combo by Waffle Flower. The handwritten style pairs beautifully with the whimsical scenes and ties the whole card together with a simple, heartfelt message. This card came together so peacefully, and I hope it inspires you to pull out your inks and create a little sunset magic of your own.
