Rockin' Christmas Season

 
Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I’m sharing two festive cards I created from the Hero Arts Handmade Holiday Workshop, both designed by Mindy Eggen. I absolutely loved the retro-inspired theme—how fun is that record player and bright red vinyl? The cheerful colors and playful music vibe make these designs perfect for spreading a little extra joy this holiday season.

One of my favorite parts of this class was getting back to some techniques I don’t use nearly enough—like stenciling with paste and adding shimmer spray. The backgrounds came to life with texture and shine, and it reminded me how satisfying it is to play with those extra details. The combination of color, shimmer, and layering really makes each card feel special and full of holiday energy.
