Stitchmas Day 11 | Calm & Bright Owl

 

Hello Craft Friends!

Day 11 of Stitchmas is here, and today’s card might be one of my cutest yet! I couldn’t resist bringing this sweet little owl to life with some stitching details. I used Black DMC Diamant thread for all the line work, and it adds just the right amount of contrast and definition. There’s something so satisfying about watching these die-cut pieces transform as the stitching goes in—it gives the whole design a warm, handmade feel.

Of course, I had to add a touch of sparkle! His cozy winter hat is dressed up with white glitter paper for the cuff and pom-pom, and it gives the card that little snowy shimmer that makes winter crafting so magical. Paired with the soft pastel background and clean oval frame, the whole card feels calm, soft, and sweet—perfect for the holiday season.

To finish it off, I stamped a classic sentiment from the To You & Yours stamp set from Spellbinders. It fits the peaceful vibe of this little owl perfectly. I’m having so much fun making these stitched creations each day, and I can’t believe we’re already at Day 11! Thanks for following along—can’t wait to share what’s next!
