Stitchmas Day 7 | Fa La La
Hello Craft Friends!
Day 7 of Stitchmas is here, and today’s project brings together two of my favorite holiday crafting elements: stitching and texture. I used the Stitchmas dies to create these bold, cheerful letters, each one stitched in a contrasting thread for a fun pop of detail. The combination of bright colors and the cozy stitched look gives this card such a festive, handmade feel—perfect for the holiday season.
To complement the stitched letters, I reached for the Holiday Flurry embossing folder from Spellbinders. The delicate snowflakes and leafy branches create the prettiest wintery background without overwhelming the design. It adds just the right amount of depth and texture, letting the stitched letters shine while tying everything together with a soft, frosty touch.
For the finishing details, I added a scattering of rhinestones to bring in a bit of sparkle. They catch the light beautifully and give the card that extra holiday magic. Simple, cheerful, and full of texture—this Day 7 Stitchmas project has been one of my favorites so far!
Happy crafting!
