Stitchmas Day 8 | Cozy Wishes


Hello Crafty Friends!

Day 8 of Stitchmas is here, and today’s card might be one of my favorites so far! I paired the Stitchmas Day 8 dies with the To You & Yours stamp set from Spellbinders to create this sweet winter hat design. The embossed background adds a subtle layer of texture, letting the stitched focal point shine. I love how the layered pieces come together to mimic the look of a real knitted hat.

One of the things I’m enjoying most about this year’s Stitchmas series is the chance to slow down and stitch. Adding thread to my die cuts gives each card such a warm, handmade touch that you just can’t get any other way. The straight stitches, little details, and pops of color all work together to give the card personality. It’s been such a fun creative break in the midst of a busy season.

If you haven’t tried stitching on your paper crafts yet, I highly recommend it! These dies make it easy, even if you’re new to stitching. A simple design comes to life with just a few strands of thread. I hope today’s project inspires you to give it a try and to add a little extra coziness to your holiday cardmaking this year.
