Hero Arts’ December subscriptions have arrived, and this month’s theme couldn’t be more fun—“Soup There It Is!”  This collection is packed with cozy winter charm, perfect for cardmaking during the colder months. From adorable illustrations to comforting sentiments, everything in this release feels warm, inviting, and full of creative possibilities. I couldn’t wait to dive into the new Hero Studio Card Kit and start crafting with the playful images.

For my first project with the kit, I created this get well card featuring the cutest bowl of soup, complete with pasta-letter sentiment. I love how whimsical and uplifting it feels—exactly the kind of happy mail someone needs when they’re under the weather. The coordinating background panel, stamped with veggies and kitchen goodies, adds an extra layer of personality without taking attention away from the focal image. It’s such a simple design, but it really makes the greeting shine.
