Spellbinders Advent Day 1

Hello Craft Friends!

Day 1 of the Spellbinders Advent Calendar is here, and I couldn’t wait to dive in! Today’s surprise was this absolutely adorable little dog die, and I just had to create with it right away. The playful expression and layered details make it such a fun piece for cardmaking.

To build my card, I paired the pup with the heart die from this month’s Hero Studio Card Kit. The bold red glitter heart creates the perfect backdrop and helps the dog really pop. For the card base, I used the November Spellbinders Embossing Folder Club folder—its beautiful pattern adds just the right amount of texture without distracting from the focal point.

It was the perfect combination for a sweet and simple card to kick off December crafting. I can already tell this Advent Calendar is going to be packed with inspiration!
