Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Fluttering Garden

I’m so glad you’re here! Each month, our creative team shares fresh inspiration using the latest Paper Pumpkin kit. This time, we’re featuring the March 2026 kit, Fluttering Garden—and it truly feels like spring in a box!

This beautiful kit is filled with delicate hummingbirds and florals, perfect for creating light and cheerful projects. As an added bonus, this month’s kit also included an extra stamp set with even more hummingbirds to stamp and color—such a fun surprise!

For today’s hop, I chose to focus on that additional stamp set and paired it with a few extra supplies from my stash to create something a little different.

For my first card, I took inspiration from the envelopes included in the kit. I stamped the floral images and heat embossed them in white to mimic the envelope design. Heat embossing is a simple technique, but it instantly adds an elegant touch. The card itself is a very easy fancy fold. I started with an 11" x 4-1/4" piece of cardstock, scored at 5-1/2", then trimmed away half of the front panel and rotated it to create the focal layer. It’s quick, unique, and so effective! 

Since part of the inside is visible when the card is closed, I added a bit of extra decoration there as well. A few tiny rhinestones were the perfect finishing touch for a little sparkle.

My second card actually came from a happy accident. While working on the first card, I grabbed the wrong embossing powder—clear instead of white—but I decided to go with it! After embossing, I used a white watercolor pencil to softly color in the leaves and flower buds. The result is subtle and delicate, and I love how it turned out.

The Fluttering Garden kit really highlights the endless possibilities of Paper Pumpkin. You can follow the kit exactly as designed, add small personal touches (like watercolor pencil shading), or completely step outside the box and create your own designs.
