Earth Day Ant Parade

Happy Earth Day, Stampin’ Friends! 

Today’s card was inspired by the beauty of nature and all the tiny creatures that help keep our planet thriving—including these adorable little ants from the Cute As A Bug Suite! I couldn’t resist creating this sweet marching lineup… they just make me smile every time I look at them.

To give this card an earthy feel, I used Crumb Cake cardstock as my base and added a piece of Designer Series Paper with a torn edge for a more natural, organic look. I love how that simple detail adds texture and makes the design feel a little more grounded—perfect for an Earth Day theme. The layered panel helps highlight the ants while still letting that soft, nature-inspired background peek through.

And here’s a fun Earth Day fact for you:  Ants are like tiny gardeners! As they tunnel through the soil, they help aerate it, allowing water and nutrients to reach plant roots more easily. They also help break down organic material, keeping ecosystems healthy and balanced. Pretty amazing for such small creatures!
