Redwork Inspired Forever Florals

Hello Stampin’ Friends!

Today’s card was inspired by something a little different—redwork embroidery and vintage red samplers. I’ve always loved the delicate, detailed look of those designs, and I wanted to see if I could recreate that same feel using paper crafting. By sticking with a simple red and white color palette, the intricate die-cut details really shine and give the card that classic, timeless look.

For this project, I used the Forever Florals bundle from Stampin’ Up! along with Real Red two-toned cardstock. The floral die creates a beautiful lacy panel that reminds me so much of stitched embroidery. I layered it over a Basic White card base and added a few extra die-cut floral elements for dimension. The sentiment was stamped in Real Red and layered with coordinating dies to create a soft focal point that doesn’t take away from all that gorgeous detail.

I love how this card feels both bold and elegant at the same time. It’s a great reminder that sometimes limiting your color palette can really elevate a design. This would be perfect for so many occasions—thinking of you, sympathy, or even a heartfelt thank you. If you give this redwork-inspired style a try, I’d love to see what you create!

Happy Stampin'!
