Clean & Simple Springtime Scenes

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I’m sharing a bright and cheerful card I created for this week’s CAS Colours & Sketches challenge! The color combo—Flirty Flamingo, Lemon Lime Twist, and Pumpkin Pie—just screams sunshine and happiness, and I couldn’t wait to play with it. I pulled out the Springtime Scenes Bundle and let those fun die-cut elements take center stage.

For this design, I kept things clean and simple while still adding a bit of interest with layering. The subtle, white die cut circle design in the background adds just enough texture without overwhelming the design. I layered the sweet ladybug and leafy branch in Lemon Lime Twist, then added those playful flowers in Flirty Flamingo and Pumpkin Pie. I love how the bold black details on the ladybug really help it pop against the softer background.

To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment in Pumpkin Pie to tie everything together. “Sending lots of sunshine” felt like the perfect match for both the colors and the overall feel of the card. This is one of those designs where the die cuts do all the work, and the simple sentiment lets them shine!
