ICS Blog Hop: 2026 - 2028 In-Colors

Hi Crafty Friends!

Welcome to the Inspire Create Share Blog Hop! This month, we’re celebrating the brand new 2026–2028 In Colors from Stampin’ Up!, and I am absolutely obsessed with this collection! The combination of soft and bold tones works so beautifully together, and I couldn’t wait to start creating with them. For today’s card, I decided to dive into my growing pile of scraps—yes, I’ve already been using these colors enough to have leftovers!

To create the background, I started with strips of cardstock cut between 1" and 1-1/4" wide, along with a few skinny 1/8" accent strips. I cut the wider pieces diagonally to form long triangles and then glued everything onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. I alternated between the wide and narrow strips, but there was no real pattern to the color placement. I simply grabbed pieces and layered them down randomly, which gave the finished card a fun, modern look full of movement and color.

After trimming the panel down, I popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals onto a layer of Basic Black cardstock for contrast, then adhered everything to a Golden Glow card base. The bold sentiment from the Words & Wishes Bundle was the perfect finishing touch for this bright birthday card. I love how this project turned a pile of scraps into something cheerful and eye-catching! Be sure to continue along the Inspire Create Share Blog Hop to see even more inspiration using the new In Colors.

Happy Stampin'!
