Keep Looking Up

Hello Crafty Friends!

Today I’m sharing a sweet and simple card I created with the brand new Silly Old Bear Suite from Stampin’ Up! I made this card for the Stampin’ Up! Only Challenge, where this week’s theme is “Case the Designer.” I always enjoy seeing how a designer’s layout or style can inspire something completely new, and this soft, clean card came together so easily.

One of my favorite things about the Silly Old Bear Suite is how quick it is to create adorable cards. A couple of the Designer Series Paper sheets include preprinted bear images that coordinate perfectly with the dies from the suite. That means you can simply die cut the images right from the paper—no coloring required! For this card, I paired the sweet bear holding the “hunny” pot with a soft patterned background and layered Early Espresso mats to help the image stand out.

I finished the card with the sentiment “It never hurts to keep looking up,” which feels so uplifting and encouraging. A few sparkly embellishments added just the right finishing touch without taking away from the simplicity of the design. I love when a suite makes cardmaking this easy while still giving such polished results!
