Lakeside Retreat 6" x 8" Layout


Hi Stampers!

Today I’m sharing another creative way to stretch your Paper Pumpkin kit beyond the original cards! Instead of making a card, I used the Lakeside Retreat Paper Pumpkin kit to create a two-page 6"x8" scrapbook layout. I love looking at my kits with fresh eyes and seeing how the pieces can work for memory keeping projects too. The soft lakeside colors and relaxing images were perfect for a scrapbook spread with a calm summer feel.

To add a little extra detail, I paired the kit with the Wonderful Scenes Dies, the Relaxing Waterside Bundle, and coordinating cardstock. The die cuts added wonderful texture and dimension while still keeping the layout clean and simple. I especially love the little bike, Adirondack chair, and paddles—they give the pages such a peaceful, outdoorsy vibe.

One of my favorite things about Paper Pumpkin is how versatile the kits really are. Even after you finish the designed cards, there are so many ways to continue creating with the leftover supplies, stamps, and embellishments. Whether you enjoy cardmaking, scrapbooking, or both, these kits are a great way to spark creativity and make the most of your crafting supplies.
