Quick & Easy Masculine Card with Waterside Retreat DSP


Hi Stampin' Friends!

One of the things I love most about the Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper is how easy it makes creating beautiful cards. The scenic images in this paper pack really do most of the work for you! For this card, I used one of the cut-apart images featuring a peaceful lakeside cabin surrounded by tall trees. It creates such a calm, outdoorsy feel that is perfect for masculine birthday cards.

To add a little extra detail, I fussy cut the fish from another sheet in the paper pack and used it as an embellishment on the front of the card. I tied a bit of baker’s twine behind the fish for some added texture and dimension. Small touches like that can really bring a card to life without adding a lot of extra work.

I also love how versatile this paper collection is. The soft watercolor style works beautifully for birthday cards, thinking of you cards, scrapbook pages, and more. If you enjoy creating quick cards with layered scenic images, this is definitely a paper pack worth adding to your collection!
