Relaxing Waterside

Hi Stamping Friends!

One of my favorite things about the Relaxing Waterside Bundle is how easily it creates peaceful, relaxing scenes. For this birthday card, I paired the bundle with the beautiful Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper. The lake-inspired images in the paper were the perfect backdrop for the Adirondack chair focal image, creating a card that feels calm, inviting, and full of summer memories.

The card features a Pool Party panel layered on a neutral cardstock mat. To add a little extra interest, I scored several horizontal lines across the Pool Party layer before assembling the card. The texture is subtle and doesn't photograph very well, but in person it adds wonderful dimension and reminds me of weathered wood planks on a dock or lakeside deck. Small details like this can make a big difference without adding bulk to a card.

I finished the design with a few coordinating die-cut elements, a simple birthday sentiment, and a touch of twine tied around the focal panel. The combination of soft colors, lakeside imagery, and understated texture makes this card suitable for almost anyone. Whether you're creating birthday cards, masculine cards, or simply sending a friendly hello, the Relaxing Waterside Bundle offers endless possibilities for bringing a little lakeside tranquility to your paper crafting projects.
