Paper Pumpkin Possibilities: Hooray for Birthdays

Hello Stampin' Friends!
Welcome to another Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! I'm so glad you're here. Each month, our talented team shares creative inspiration using the newest Paper Pumpkin kit, and this month we're featuring the beautiful July 2026 Hooray for Birthdays kit.
For my alternative project, I challenged myself to set aside the kit's preprinted card bases and die-cut pieces and create a card using only the stamp set and Detail Flora Add-On Dies, along with a few coordinating products from the annual catalog. It's something I don't do nearly often enough, but it's a wonderful reminder that the stamp set included in every Paper Pumpkin kit can continue to inspire projects long after you've assembled the original designs.
To create the focal point, I die cut an arch using the Everyday Arches Dies. Along the bottom of the arch, I stamped the leaves and stems using the stamping-off technique, which creates soft, subtle greenery without overpowering the design. I then die cut the flowers with the Detail Flora Add-On Dies and attached them with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals for added depth. The "Hooray" sentiment was stamped directly onto the arch, while "It's Your Day" was stamped on a scrap of Basic White cardstock and punched with the Triple Banner Punch.
To finish the card, I layered the arch onto a Pool Party card base covered with the cheerful polka dot pattern from the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper. The soft colors and playful background perfectly complement the delicate floral arrangement, creating a bright and happy birthday card that's easy to recreate.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Be sure to continue on the blog hop to see even more creative ways to stretch your Hooray for Birthdays Paper Pumpkin kit. I hope today's project inspires you to pull out your Paper Pumpkin stamp sets and give them a second life in your cardmaking!
Happy Stampin'!
